Are you ready for the holidays?

Oh my goodness, how did it get to be December 19 already?  I feel like 2014 just started yesterday and we're already at the end of it.  I won't be too sorry to see this year leave but I wish I had a little more time between now and Christmas.

This just about sums up how I feel about the holidays right now and what I still have left to do.  Like PUT UP MY CHRISTMAS TREE!!  Holy cow - we are never this late with that!  Most of my shopping is usually done by now.  I think I have most of what I need but there's this nagging feeling that I don't have enough that's bugging me right now.  The kids' school schedule is messing me up a little bit this year, too, considering that today was their last day of school and they are off for two weeks.  TWO WEEKS!!  What on earth am I going to do with them for two weeks?  Beside pray that they don't kill each other!

I am feeling more stressed out about the whole Christmas gift situation than I think I need to be but I won't start to feel better about it until I actually have stuff wrapped and I see what the piles look like.  It always comes together no matter how stressed I am about it but I just don't feel ready this year.
